About the job

The VP of People will be a key member of our leadership team, responsible for building and executing people strategies that will support the company’s growth, mission, and values. This role supports corporate governance for offices in the USA, Japan, the UK and Israel. You will manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, learning & development, compensation, employee engagement, and retention. You will lead our TA and global HR functions. Your goal will be to foster an inclusive, high-performance culture and help create an environment where all employees thrive and feel empowered to contribute their best work.

In this role, you’ll:

Strategic Leadership:
  • Partner with the executive team to design and execute people strategies aligned with the company’s growth objectives and values.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on talent-related matters, including workforce planning, leadership development, and organizational design.
Talent Acquisition, Management & Development:
  • Drive global talent acquisition strategies to attract, hire and retain top talent by partnering with department leaders to define hiring needs and create efficient recruitment processes.
  • Design and implement talent development programs focused on skill-building, leadership growth, and career progression.
  • Promote continuous learning and foster a high-performance culture through regular feedback, coaching, and development plans.
People Operations:
  • Oversee the full employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compensation & benefits, and offboarding.
  • Develop and implement processes to ensure a smooth, engaging employee experience, from recruitment to retirement.
  • Overseas welfare and office operation/administration needs.
Culture & Employee Engagement:
  • Build and nurture a positive, inclusive, and transparent company culture.
  • Promote employee engagement and create programs that strengthen team collaboration, morale, and productivity.
  • Address and resolve employee relations issues and mediate when necessary.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI):
  • Champion DEI initiatives and ensure diverse perspectives are represented across the organization.
  • Develop strategies to attract, retain, and promote diverse talent within the company.
Compliance and Best Practices:
  • Stay updated on relevant labor laws and regulations and ensure company compliance.
  • Develop and enforce policies that reflect the company’s values and support organizational objectives.

 

What you’ll need:

 

  • Proven experience (7+ years) in a senior HR/People leadership role, ideally within a high-growth or post-startup environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of HR functions, including talent acquisition, compensation & benefits, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Demonstrated experience building and scaling people functions at a company transitioning from startup to growth stage.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and align teams around common goals.
  • Expertise in creating and fostering an inclusive company culture and promoting employee engagement.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to use analytics to guide decision-making.
  • Deep knowledge of Israeli labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Ability to understand and manage local governance in the Israel, USA, Japan, UK offices.
  • Experience working in a tech or SaaS environment – preferred.
  • MA degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business- Administration, or a related field – preferred.
  • Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CIPD) – preferred.
  • Fluency in English and Hebrew.
