We’re seeking a motivated Account Manager to join our regional sales team, leveraging ASTERRA’s unique satellite data to help clients identify water loss and hazardous water accumulation affecting essential infrastructure. Ideal candidates are early to mid-level professionals ready to manage impactful, industrial-scale water recovery projects.
Responsibilities
- Account Management: Oversee a portfolio of accounts and projects from contract signing to execution and value reporting.
- Client Onboarding & Support: Assist with the onboarding of new clients, providing demonstrations, and training clients on ASTERRA’s online platforms and applications.
- Technology Adoption: Facilitate in-field support and training for leak detection teams, guiding them on ASTERRA’s technology and best practices.
- Project Kickoff: Lead project kickoff meetings with diverse stakeholders, including high-level managers and board members.
- Customer Success: Execute customer satisfaction activities to meet target success rates and ensure annual contract renewals.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Report customer insights to internal teams and provide feedback for product improvements.
- Reporting & Presentation: Develop and deliver product performance reports and presentations for stakeholders.
- Customer Retention: Conduct regular customer meetings to monitor satisfaction and ensure customer renewal by demonstrating value.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 1-2 years of relevant experience with a proven sales record, educational background, or technical training.
- Skilled in synthesizing observations and delivering concise, compelling summaries and proof of value through reports and PowerPoint presentations.
- Strong attention to detail for managing contract scope, scheduling, and maintaining accurate databases with field-collected data.
- Availability for extensive travel within the United States (30%-50%), including fieldwork and conferences.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to perform outdoor duties involving walking and standing for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with acoustic leak detection devices (e.g., listening sticks, ground mics, correlators).
- Understanding of industrial water loss challenges, particularly in innovation-resistant environments.
- Experience in the public sector, particularly within water-related projects.
- Previous experience in project management.
- Proven success in implementing new technologies and achieving customer satisfaction.
- Ability to articulate and advocate for innovative technology benefits through effective communication.
- Advanced knowledge of churn reduction tactics and proven experience implementing them to retain accounts.
