ASTERRA is looking for an Operations and Project Manager to join our dynamic Operations team. In this role, you will oversee end-to-end satellite image acquisition, support internal workflows, and manage operational projects that drive the successful delivery of ASTERRA’s cutting-edge solutions. You will play a key role in maintaining and improving processes, working across teams to ensure efficient execution and continuous innovation.
In this role, you’ll:
- Manage ASTERRA’s satellite image acquisition process, working closely with global satellite providers
- Coordinate and support operational workflows from data collection to delivery
- Contribute to the planning and execution of cross-functional production and development projects
- Assist in the analysis, quality assurance, and georeferencing of satellite-based products
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline and document operational processes
- Implement automation and CRM workflows to improve team efficiency
- Track project progress and ensure timely delivery in line with organizational goals
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geology, Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience or strong familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho).
- High proficiency in English (spoken and written).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong ability to manage and integrate multiple tasks and processes simultaneously.
- Structured, methodical thinker with the ability to develop and maintain efficient workflows.
- High level of personal discipline, self-management, and task ownership in a dynamic environment.
- Experience or familiarity with GIS or remote sensing technologies – an advantage.
