Exciting news for water utilities across 21 states: ASTERRA’s US channel program has officially launched, and we’re hitting the ground flying at satellite speeds. We’re teaming up with two powerhouse manufacturer rep firms, Dynamic Water Concepts and Yentes Associates, to bring satellite-based leak detection and infrastructure planning to a lot more communities a lot faster.

For those that have been waiting for ASTERRA’s satellite intelligence to show up closer to home, this is that moment. Here’s what’s happening and why we’re genuinely excited about it.

Partnerships That Meet Utilities with Local Understanding

Up until now, ASTERRA’s US business has grown mostly through a direct sales model. That’s worked well, but it also means our reach can only go so far. By partnering with experienced, well-connected regional firms, we’re plugging our satellite-based leak detection technology directly into networks that utilities already know and trust. We now are bringing ASTERRA’s actionable intelligence to seasoned, local representatives who know their networks’ needs exceptionally well.

Meet Dynamic Water Concepts: 30 Years of Water-Industry Know-How

Dynamic Water Concepts will be representing ASTERRA across a huge swath of the Northeast and Midwest: Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont and West Virginia.

With three decades in the water and wastewater space, Dynamic brings exactly what utilities want in a partner: established relationships, a sustainability-first mindset, and a focus on efficiency. Their track record for connecting utilities with the right technology made them an easy fit for where ASTERRA wants to go next.

Meet Yentes Associates: Upper Midwest Roots, Hands-On Support

Covering Illinois, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin, Yentes Associates brings deep regional roots in the Upper Midwest waterworks market. They’ve built their reputation on practical problem-solving and responsive, on-the-ground customer support.

That kind of local trust is hard to build and even harder to replicate, which is exactly why we’re thrilled to have Yentes Associates alongside our own team.

More Than a Bigger Sales Team

Both Dynamic and Yentes already represent complementary water and wastewater solutions, meaning utilities working with them can experience ASTERRA’s satellite intelligence as part of a bigger, more complete toolkit for tackling water loss, boosting system performance, and making intelligent infrastructure investments.

We believe this is a win-win-win, for ASTERRA, our partners, and water utilities. Utilities will get more complete solutions while our new partners add cutting-edge satellite technology to their offering line cards. ASTERRA gets to help even more communities put actionable intelligence to work in making the most of their water supply and pipe infrastructure.

As ASTERRA’s CEO, James Perry, puts it, the goal is to combine ASTERRA’s satellite-based solutions with strong local relationships and knowledgeable, responsive support, so that more communities benefit from smarter water infrastructure decisions.

What Utilities Can Expect

ASTERRA’s offerings are built to help utilities identify potential underground leaks, prioritize field crews, and plan infrastructure investments with confidence.

Both Dynamic and Yentes are in the process of ASTERRA’s multi-day product, technical, and sales-readiness trainings. Once complete, their teams will be out in their territories engaging utilities, engineering firms, contractors, and other water-industry partners directly. If you’re a water utility manager in one of these 21 states, you can count on hearing from a friendly, familiar face soon.

Build Out the Channel With Us

While we’re off to a strong start, we are actively looking to partner with more established manufacturer rep firms that serve municipal water utilities, bring strong regional relationships, and offer complementary technologies.

Think your firm could be a fit, too? We’d love to discuss the opportunity. Take a couple minutes to fill out our Become a Partner form to get the conversation started.
