Skopje, Macedonia

In September of 2018, Utilis delivered a pilot to the city of Skopje, Macedonia. The Skopje utility supplies water to over 600,000 inhabitants and they have a non-revenue water (NRW) level of 62%. With this serious of a water loss, the Skopje utility invited Utilis to test our satellite leak detection technology on their system. Leak detection teams analyzed 38.2 KM (23.74 Miles) of network pipes and 70 points of interest (POIs) were checked in 32 days. Of the POIs analyzed, 61 were confirmed to have leaks which resulted in a total of 123 leaks found.
