In July of 2019, Utilis returned to complete a pilot in the city of Cologne, Germany. The Cologne utility invited Utilis and in cooperation with KSC, a Utilis certified acoustic leak detection team, 25.7 km of network pipes were analyzed and 38 points of interest (POIs) were checked in less than 9 days. Of the POIs analyzed, 23 were confirmed to have leaks by the acoustic team, resulting in a total of 29 leaks found.
