Buenos Aires, Argentina

In August of 2019, Utilis conducted a pilot in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in cooperation with the IDB – Inter– American Development Bank. Together with Utilis engineer, 227 Km of pipes were analyzed, and 375 POIs were checked in 5 months! Out of the 375 POIs, 307 were confirmed to have leaks by the acoustic teams, resulting in a total of 913 leaks. From water saving approach, 1.205.830 m3/ year of water is saved which would supply more than 8.000 habitants.
